Update: A lot of the stuff's vanished, its disappearance down to the demise of UKOnline I suspect. I'm sure of got copies of this stuff somewhere, I shall take a look.

Movember Insanity - Let's Do Some Drinking

I know it's in a good cause and all, but whilst the Moustache thickens the joke wears ever thinner. Never mind, the month is due to end with an alcho-fest at the Big Chill Bar here in Brizzle. Rock Bottom will be playing, as will, we hope, a rocking Elvis band. Starts early, I'm told, so get there early, drink beer and eat burgers.

17 July 2010 - Queen's Head Bristol - Oliver Curd Charity Gig

Come along to the Queen's Head in Bristol (junction of Royate Hill and Fishponds Road) this Saturday for some jolly Rock'n'Roll, a raffle and a fine BBQ. Free entry, very cheap drinks prices. What's not to like?

UPDATE: Thanks to everyone who helped to make this event a real success. Over £360 is on its way to the Oliver Curd Trust.

FURTHER UPDATE: Peter the landlord of the Queen's Head has very generously made up the amount raised for the Oliver Curd Trust to £500. Outstanding.
